METRO RAILWAY SUCCESSFULLY COMMISSIONED ELECTRONIC INTERLOCKING (EI) OF DUM DUM PANEL TO IMPROVE TRAIN OPERATIONS
Metro Railway has successfully completed Electronic-Interlocking Work at Dum Dum Panel today morning i.e. on 15.01.2023. This work involved modification of the existing Electrical Interlocking System to an Electronic Interlocking (EI) System at Dum Dum Panel which is linked to all the routes, points, signals and track sections to the Carshed and next stations.

After the commissioning of this Electronic Interlocking, Metro Railway will be able to provide improved passenger services. This will enhance safety and increase operational flexibility.
