ANOTHER UNIQUE INITIATIVE TO INCREASE NON-FARE REVENUE
LED SCREENS TO BE INSTALLED INSIDE METRO RAKES

Good News for Metro commuters! Now they will be able to see news, movies, songs, popular talk shows, important announcements etc. inside the running Metros. Metro Railway has taken another unique initiative to entertain its commuters with infotainment by installing LED Screens inside all the coaches of Medha AC Rakes which will in turn increase its Non-Fare Revenue. Two LED Screens will be installed in each coaches of 16 Medha AC Rakes of North-South Corridor (Blue Line).
An agreement has been signed today i.e. on 13.01.2023 between Metro Railway and M/s Cressanda Solutions Ltd. in this regard. Shri Kaushik Mitra, Dy.COM/Commercial, Metro Railway and Shri Manohar Iyer, CEO of M/s Cressanda Solutions Ltd. signed this one year agreement at Metro Rail Bhavan today.
The agency will install the 32 inchs LED TV inside all Medha Rakes. All the contents which will be on display will be pre-loaded.
Shri Arun Arora, General Manager, Metro Railway, has expressed his satisfaction for such unique initiative in Metro Railway and hoped that commuters will be able to get necessary information about Kolkata Metro on these LED TVs whereas advertisers will be able to display their commercials on them.
