LOST PURSE RECOVERED AND RETURNED TO COMMUTER

On 25.12.2022 at about 10.45 hrs a commuter found a purse and deposited it to the Station Master’s Office at Netaji Metro station. After opening the purse, a mobile phone and some valuable items were found therein.
Thereafter, the Station Master made repeated announcements requesting the owner of the purse to collect it from the Station Master’s Office and a control message was also communicated to all stations.
After sometimes i.e. at about 12.20 hrs., a lady commuter came to the Station Master’s office and claimed the ownership of the purse. After proper verification and complying with all official formalities, the recovered purse was handed over to her.
She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway Authority for helping her to recover the lost purse.
