METRO RAILWAY TIGHTENS SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS on CHRISTMAS (25.12.2022)

Metro Railway is going to strengthen its security arrangements at Esplanade, Park Street, Maidan , Rabindra Sadan and Dum Dum Metro stations on Christmas i.e. on 25.12.2022. Metro RPF will arrange extra deployment in these stations in order to manage anticipated huge rush on that day.
Adequate lady RPF staff will be deployed in these stations to ensure safety and security of ladies and children. one Special Team consisting of one Sub-Inspector/Assistant Sub-Inspector and four staff including two lady staff will remain present at Park Street, Maidan & Esplanade Metro stations on 25.12.2022. This team will remain in readiness to tackle any emergency.
Another Special Team consisting of one officer and four staff will be deployed at Park Street Metro station on the day to manage the rush. Adequate number of RPF staff will be deployed in Park Street, Maidan & Esplanade Metro stations to provide proper guidance to the commuters.
Anti-sabotage checking will be done at these stations and sniffer dog will also be deployed at Maidan and Park Street stations.
Further, Metro users are requested to follow all Covid Protocols and co-operate with the Metro authority and co-passengers.
