PRESS RELEASE

METRO STAFF HELP AN INJURED LADY PASSENGER

Kolkata, Date: 01.12.2022

On 01.12.2022 at about 07.50 hrs, a lady passenger aged about 20 years after travelling from Netaji got down at Kavi Nazrul Metro station. While proceeding for exit from the station, she suddenly slipped on the staircase and got injured. Seeing her condition, on-duty station staff and RPF personnel rushed to her help.  The Station Master of this station was immediately apprised of the situation and he came to the spot immediately after receipt of this information. She was administered first aid and she felt better after this preliminary treatment.

Station staff later got in touch with her mother over the phone number she had given to them and her mother was informed of her condition. Her mother came to the station at 08.40 hrs. She wanted to take her home. After complying with all official formalities, the lady passenger was handed over to her mother.

Both mother and daughter expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway Authority for kind co-operation and timely help.
