LOST BAG RECOVERED AND RETURNED TO COMMUTER

On 22.11.2022 at about 15:00 hrs at Shyambazar Metro Station, an on-duty lady RPF staff during a routine check found a bag near the luggage scanner machine. Finding no claimant of this bag, she deposited it to the Station Master’s Office after careful checking.
Thereafter, the Station Master made repeated announcements requesting the owner of the bag to collect it from the Station Master’s Office and a control message was also communicated to all the stations. After opening the bag, some valuable items were found therein.
After sometimes i.e. at about 15:40 hrs., a male commuter came to the Station Master’s office and claimed the ownership of the bag. After proper verification and complying with all official formalities, the recovered bag was handed over to him.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway Authority for helping him to recover the lost bag.
