FOOTFALLS IN METRO  CROSS 6.5 LAKHS MARK

Kolkata, Date: 29.09.2022

          Footfalls in Metro have crossed 6.5 lakhs mark. North-South Metro has carried 6,68,504 passengers  o­n 28.09.2022 (Tritiya) . Total 288 services were run o­n that day to cater to the Metro users.


On 28.09.2022   maximum footfalls 83,180 were  recorded at Dumdum. Esplanade  recorded 53,875 footfalls, followed by  Rabindra Sadan 42,104 footfalls.


          Last time o­n 13.01.2020 Metro carried more than 6.5 lakhs passengers. o­n that day 6,66,531 passengers travelled in North-South Metro.


          East-West Metro carried 42,006 passengers o­n 28.09.2022.
