METRO SHOWS HUMANE FACE AGAIN

On 19.09.2022 at 10.25 hrs., one lady passenger , aged about 62 years after getting down from a Metro suddenly fell down on the platform and sustained injury at Jatin Das Park station. Seeing her condition, an on-duty lady RPF and other station staff rushed to her for immediate help.
She was brought to the Station Master’s office and administered the first aid in presence of Station Master and other staff. Her son was immediately contacted over phone collected from her and apprised of her condition. After sometimes, she felt well and wanted to go home.
After getting information, her son came to the station and took her home at 11.00 hrs. Before leaving the station, she and her son thanked Metro Railway Authority for kind co-operation and timely intervention.
In another incident on the same date at about 21.30 hrs. at Masterda Surya Sen station, a lady passenger aged about 40 years hile stepping down from an escalator suddenly slipped and fell down sustaining leg injury. Seeing her condition, on-duty RPF and other station staff immediately came for her help. After getting information, Station Master rushed to the spot and administered her the first aid.
After sometimes, she felt well and left the station with her sister at 21.51 hrs. Before leaving the station, she expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway Authority for kind co-operation.
