METRO HELPS AN INDISPOSED COMMUTER

On 13.09.2022 at 14.40 hrs., one passenger aged about 31 years, after entering Mahatma Gandhi Road station suddenly slipped while stepping up the stairs and got injured.
After seeing his condition, the on-duty RPF and station staff rushed to help him and administered first aid. His family members were immediately contacted over the phone number collected from him and apprised of his condition.
As there was no improvement in his condition, he was sent to nearby Calcutta Medical College and Hospital for further treatment under the escort of a home guard and RPF staff. His family members also came to the Hospital after getting the information.
Later, after sometimes ,i.e. at 16.50 hrs., his family members got in touch with the station staff and informed about the release of the commuter from the Hospital after proper treatment and thanked the Metro Railway Authority for their co-operation.
