METRO SHOWS HUMANE FACE AGAIN

On 07.09.2022 at 08.20 hrs, a Bangladeshi national aged about 30 years began to feel unwell while travelling to Rabindra Sadan and got down at Maidan Station. After deboarding, he immediately sought help from the on-duty RPF and station staff. Seeing his condition, they came to his rescue and he was administered first-aid immediately in the presence of Station Master who was informed by them about the incident.
But as there was no improvement in his condition, he was sent to nearby PG Hospital along with his father who accompanied him during his journey under the escort of a Metro Railway police at 08.30 hrs for further treatment.
The commuter and his father thanked Metro Railway Authority for their timely co-operation before leaving the station.
On the same day at 11.20 hrs., one passenger aged about 50 years after deboarding at Dum Dum Metro Station suddenly felt unwell and became unconscious near the South Side Entry Gate of the station.
Seeing his condition, on-duty RPF and station staff rushed to him for immediate help and was administered first aid in the presence of Station Master and other staff. His son was immediately contacted over phone collected from his mobile phone found in his pocket and apprised of his father’s condition.
As his condition further deteriorated, he was sent to R G Kar Medical College and Hospital for further treatment under the escort of the station staff and his son. His son informed the Station Master over phone after sometimes that his father was released from the Hospital after preliminary treatment and he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway Authority for their kind co-operation.
