METRO SHOWS HUMANE FACE AGAIN

Today at about 10.55 hrs., a passenger aged about 59 years suddenly felt unwell at the UP platform of Dum Dum Metro Station. After seeing his condition, on-duty station staff and RPF rushed to him for immediate help. After getting information from the station staff, Station Master immediately rushed to the spot. He was administered first aid at once but finding no improvement in his condition, it was decided to send him to the nearby R.G. Kar Medical College and Hospital for further treatment. His wife was contacted over phone for apprising her of his condition.
He was sent to the Hospital only after arrival of his wife at 11.10 hrs under the escort of a station staff and RPF personnel. His wife thanked the Metro Railway Authority for timely intervention and co-operation.
