METRO RPF RECOVERS A BAG CONTAINING CASH AND OTHER VALUABLES AND RETURNS IT TO OWNER
Kolkata, Date: 04.10.2021
On 03.10.2021 at about 12.00 hrs, an on-duty RPF staff at Kavi Subhas station recovered an unclaimed ladies purse lying at UP platform of Kavi Subhas Metro station. The same was deposited to the Station Master’s Office of Kavi Subhash station by him.
After opening the purse, cash and other essential items were found inside it along with a phone number.
Metro staff contacted at that number and after a while, a lady passenger came to the Station Master’s office of Kavi Subhas station and claimed the ownership of the purse.
After proper verification and observing all official formalities, it was handed over to her.
She appreciated the work of the Metro staff to help her get back the lost purse.
