344.05 GRAM GOLD ORNAMENTS RECOVERED
AT DUM DUM METRO STATION
Kolkata, 29.09.2021: -
On 28.09.2021 at about 16:00 hrs an on-duty RPF staff detained a male commuter as metal substances were detected in his bag at the luggage scanner machine of Dum Dum Metro station. After checking, gold ornaments weighing around 344.05 gm (worth Rs. 15,65,000/- approx) were found inside the bag.
As the commuter could not show any authentic document for carrying the ornaments, he was handed over to the Sinthi Police station at 18.50 hrs along with the ornaments for further necessary action after lodging a written complaint.
