ON-DUTY METRO STAFF RESCUED AN INJURED COMMUTER AND SENT HIM TO HOSPITAL


Kolkata, Date:  21.09.2021


Today o­n 21.09.2021, at about 11.20 hrs., a male commuter aged around 57 years injured himself after a bad fall o­n the DN platform of Esplanade station. He was about to catch a Metro. 

On-duty RPF and station staff immediately rushed to help him.  They brought him to the Station Master’s office in a stretcher and he was given First Aid, as he was not feeling well after the fall.  

Later at around 11.45 hrs. four Metro staff took him to SSKM Hospital in an ambulance for further treatment. His family members were informed over phone.
