METRO RPF ORGANISED TRAINING SESSION o­n STRESS AND DEPRESSION MANAGEMENT,

118 RPF PERSONNEL ATTENDED

A training session o­n Stress and Depression Management for RPF officers and staff of Metro Railway was organised at Belgachia Auditorium o­n 03.09.2021 in co-ordination with the Raja Yoga Meditation Centre, Baranagar, a branch of Prajapita Brahma Kumari Ishwariya Viswa Vidyalaya, Mount Abu.

Shri Sarat Chandra Parhi, IG - CUM - Principal Chief Security Commissioner/RPF, Shri Amaresh Kumar, DIG- CUM- Chief Security Commissioner/ RPF , other  RPF officers and staff were present in this training session in which  senior Raja Yoga Meditation trainers like Brahma Kumari Kiran didi, Brahma Kumari Pinky and Brahma Kumar Vishnu explained the ways to overcome the stress and depression with the help of meditation and developing good habits.

Shri Sarat Chandra Parhi, PCSC, in his address advised RPF personnel to maintain a disciplined life with available resources and avoid high and unrealistic expectations. He also stressed o­n making Yoga and Meditation as part of daily life.

In this session, 118 officers and staff of RPF / Metro Railway participated. It is expected that such session will help RPF personnel to reduce stress and perform their duties with utmost sincerity and devotion.
