ON-DUTY METRO STAFF RESCUE AN INDISPOSED COMMUTER

AND ADMITTED HIM TO HOSPITAL


 Kolkata, Date:  01.09.2021


On 01.09.2021, at about 12.30 hrs., a male commuter travelling in a DN Metro  suddenly started  feeling unwell.  o­ne of the co-passengers alerted Metro Security Control from that running Metro over Women’s Helpline Number: 9007041908. Security Control immediately alerted o­n-duty RPF and Station staff.  

On-duty RPF and Station staff rescued that indisposed commuter from DN train at Kalighat Metro station.  They brought him to Station Master’s room in a stretcher and provided First Aid. Later a  Metro staff took him to Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital  for further treatment.  

He was immediately attended by doctors and put under observation at Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital for sometime. Later, he recovered and was released.

The passenger appreciated Metro staff for helping him.
