GENERAL MANAGER, METRO RAILWAY MADE DETAILED INSPECTION OF JOKA-MAJERHAT SECTION OF JOKA-ESPLANADE METRO PROJECT

Shri Manoj Joshi, General Manager, Metro Railway made detailed inspection of Joka-Majerhat Section of Joka-Esplanade Metro Project today i.e. on 31.08.2021.
He started his inspection from Joka Depot, which is going to become one of the most state of the art, modern depots and held a meeting with ED/Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL)and his team here.
General Manager also inaugurated a lockgate at Joka Depot and planted a sapling at this site.
Shri Joshi conducted a trolley inspection from Joka Depot to Taratala Station with all senior officials of Metro Railway and Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) and inspected upcoming Joka, Sakherbazar, Thakurpukur, Behala Chowrasta and Taratala stations. Shri Amit Ray, ED/RVNL detailed Shri Joshi about the progress of this project at a meeting held at Majerhat. The works of Joka and Behala Chowrasta stations are in advanced stage and all modern passenger amenities are being provided here. These stations are being beautified with murals and other artistic works.
General Manager reviewed Majerhat – Mominpur – Esplanade Metro work. He expressed his satisfaction after seeing the progress of the work and advised all to complete all the pending works within the deadline.
