METRO RPF RECOVERS BAGS

At around 12.18 hrs on 22.08.2021, an on-duty RPF staff deposited a bag left by a passenger in the luggage scanner to the Station Master of Netaji Station.
This recovery of the bag was announced through Public Address System and the owner of the bag was requested to collect it from Station Master with valid proof. After some time, one person came to the Station Master’s office of Netaji station and claimed the ownership of the bag.
After proper verification and complying with all the legal formalities, the bag containing one spectacle, mobile phone, cash amounting to Rs. 1200/-, ATM card, Smart Card and other official paper was handed over to him.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to RPF and Metro Staff to help him get back the bag.
In another incident, on 23.08.2021at around 12.55 hrs, an on-duty lady RPF staff found a purse at Masterda Surya Sen station and deposited it to the on-duty Station Master of Masterda Surya Sen station. After opening the bag, Rs. 1000/- cash and a card of a reputed bank were found therein.
After sometime at about 13.15 hrs., one lady passenger approached the Station Master of this station and claimed ownership of the bag. After proper verification and complying with all the legal formalities, the bag along with all other items containing therein were handed over to her.
She also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to RPF and Metro Staff to help her get back the purse.
