METRO RAILWAY PAYS HOMAGE TO DR. VIKRAM SARABHAI

Metro Railway has been celebrating 75th anniversary of India’s Independence Day as ‘AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSOV’. As a part of this celebration today i.e. on 12.08.2021, Metro Railway paid homage to Dr. Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai, the Father of the India’s Space Programme in a befitting manner on his 102nd birth anniversary. Skits on the life and works of Dr. Sarabhai were staged by school children at Maidan and Rabindra Sadan Metro stations.
A small film on Dr. Sarabhai was also screened on platform televisions of different Metro stations.
