16 ADDITIONAL METRO SERVICES FROM  19.07.2021(MONDAY)

FOR THE CONVENIENCE OF THE  PASSENGERS IN THE MORNING

AND EVENING PEAK HOURS


FREQUENCY OF METRO SERVICES  REDUCED TO SIX MINUTES


Kolkata, Date: 16.07.2021


In order to facilitate the Metro commuters, it has been decided to add 16 more services (UP & DN) in the morning and evening peak hours from 19.07.2021(Monday). Metro will run 208 daily services instead of 192 services from Monday to Friday so that the passengers can travel comfortably.

During morning and evening peak hours, Metro services will run at the interval of 6 minutes.


FIRST SERVICE


Ø  At  08.00 hrs  from Dakshineswar to Kavi Subhash

Ø  At  08.00 hrs from Dum Dum to Dakshineswar 

Ø  At  08.00 hrs from Kavi Subhash to Dakshineswar

Ø  At 08.00 hrs  from Dum Dum to Kavi Subhash


  LAST SERVICE


Ø  At 19.48 hrs from Dakshineswar to Kavi Subhash 

Ø  At 20.00 hrs from Dum Dum to  Kavi Subhash

Ø  At 20.00 hrs from Kavi Subhash to Dakshineswar


On Saturdays, 104 numbers ( 52 UP & 52 DN )Maintenance Special Services will be run for essential staff from 08.00 hrs to 11.30 hrs and 15.30 hrs to 19.30 hrs from Kavi Subhash and Dakshinewar  There will be  no services  o­n Sundays.  East –West Metro services will remain unchanged. No tokens will be issued.
