A 62 -YEAR OLD CRITICAL COVID PATIENT RECOVERS COMPLETELY AFTER HER 55-DAY BATTLE AT TAPAN SINHA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

Smt. Indira Dey, a 62-year old critical Covid patient has recovered completely after her 55-day battle against the deadly disease at Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital of Metro Railway.
Smt. Dey, a resident of Belgachia was admitted in this hospital in a critical condition on 30th April, 2021 with severe Covid-19 pneumonia. At the time of admission, her blood Oxygen saturation level was only 35 per cent and her lungs were severely affected. She was also suffering from high blood sugar and hypertension. During her stay in the hospital, she also developed severe urinal infection, gastrointestinal bleeding and neurological problems. With the help of proper medical treatment, BiPAP therapy, round-the- clock good nursing care and Oxygen support, she has recovered from Covid after 55-day long fight with this deadly disease. She has been discharged on 25th June, 2021 without any Oxygen support from this hospital.
Her family members have expressed their gratitude to all the doctors and other staff of Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital for saving her life.
