METRO TO RUN 40 MAINTENANCE SPECIAL SERVICES (20 UP & 20 DN) FROM 21.06.2021 (MONDAY) IN BETWEEN DAKSHINESWAR AND KAVI SUBHASH


Kolkata, Date: 18.06.2021


Keeping in view the increased number of footfalls of essential staff in Metro, the authorities have decided to run 40 (20 UP & 20 DN) Maintenance Specials from 21.06.2021(Monday). These services will  ply  between Dakshineswar and Kavi Subhash from 09.00 hrs to 11.15 hrs and again 15.45 hrs to 18.00 hrs at an interval of 15 minutes from Monday to Saturday .There will be no services available o­n Sunday. Earlier 12 maintenance special services used to be run in between Dumdum and Kavi Subhash.

Essential staff associated with health care, veterinary service, law and order, court, social welfare homes, bank, correctional services, power, drinking water supply, telecom, internet, fire services, disaster management and civil defence, sanitation, food and beverages, insurance, press, sewerage and funeral services etc.will be able to avail these services with proper ID and Metro Smart Cards. 

         No tokens will be issued.

All commuters availing these services are requested to maintain social distancing and all other Covid Protocols strictly in Metro premises and o­n the trains.
