INOCULATION OF ALL FRONT LINE METRO STAFF
Kolkata, Date: 31.05. 2021
Inoculation of all Front Line Staff of Metro Railway across all age groups will be completed very shortly.
Shri Manoj Joshi, General Manager, Metro Railway has instructed to make necessary arrangements to immediately complete this COVID vaccination drive of RPF personnel, Motormen, Safaiwalas, Station Superintendents, Booking Clerks and other Station Staff who regularly come into contact with the passengers. Vaccination drive to inoculate these staff has already been undertaken in Metro.
Shri Joshi also reviewed Metro Railway's COVID preparedness in a high level meeting today i.e. on 31.05.2021.
He instructed concerned officers to make all critical medicines and vaccines available at Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital for the benefit of the Metro staff. Arrangements have already been made to provide adequate Oxygen, if necessary to each bed in the COVID Ward of this Hospital.
Shri Joshi has also advised to complete all pending Tracks, Points and Crossing Maintenance works during the on-going lockdown.
