TAPAN SINHA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL PROVIDING TREATMENT TO COVID PATIENTS SATISFACTORILY

Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital of Metro Railway is a Level-II dedicated COVID Hospital. So far, 549 Covid positive patients have been treated in this Hospital which has 75 dedicated beds for treating COVID patients. 13 doctors and 35 para medical staff have been working tirelessly to treat Covid positive patients round the clock here. Sufficient amount of PPE kits, hand-sanitizer, N-95 masks have been supplied to all Health Care Workers for attending and treating COVID patients.
This Hospital has adequate number of oxygen cylinders provided at each bed, medicines, Non Invasive Ventilators, High Flow Machines, BIPAP Machines, Non Re-breathing Masks to treat moderate and severe Covid patients. The Dedicated Covid Ward also has Hepa Filters and Laminar Air Flow facilities.
Proper cleaning and sanitization and other maintenance works of the entire Hospital and adjoining areas are being done on regular basis.
In this Hospital, COVID-19 vaccination sessions have also been launched. Health Care Personnel, RPF Staff, Motormen, Retired Employees and other beneficiaries have been vaccinated. So far, 3254 employees (Present and Retired) and their beneficiaries have been vaccinated with Covishield vaccines as per the guidelines of MOHFW. Even, non- Railway employees have also been vaccinated at this Hospital.
Till date, 3050 swab samples have been collected for RT- PCR tests for COVID - 19.
Rapid Antigen tests for COVID-19 detection are also being done for emergency admitted patients in this Hospital.
