LIFT INAUGURATED AT CITY CENTRE METRO STATION
NEW FACILITY FOR MOTORMAN INAUGURATED AT NOAPARA CREW LOBBY

Good news for Metro commuters!
A lift for the passenger use at City Centre station of Green Line-2 has been inaugurated today i.e. on 05.08.2025. Shri Dharmendra Prasad Singh, SSE/Works has inaugurated this lift in presence of Shri P Uday Kumar Reddy , General Manager, Metro Railway and other senior officers. This lift will increase passenger comfort at this station as it will enable them to move easily between different levels of this station. Shri Reddy has expressed his hope that this initiative would be helpful for Metro commuters.
A full body massage chair at Noapara Crew Lobby was inaugurated by Shri Subodh Ram, Motorman in the presence of Shri P. Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager and other senior officers of Metro Railway today i.e. on 05.08.2025. This massage chair would help Metro Motorman to get relaxed by whole body massage during the break/end of their duty which would upgrade their physical and mental status. Shri Reddy has expressed his happiness and said that this facility would be beneficial for the Motormen.
Five such massage chairs would be installed at Kavi Subhash, Joka, Noapara and Sealdah Crew Lobby for the Motormen.
An Isolator Hut was also inaugurated by Shri. Goura Mohan Hembram, SSE in presence of Shri P. Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager and other senior officers at Noapara today.
