STRESS MANAGEMENT CAMP FOR METRO STAFF


Kolkata, Date:15.07.2025


Metro Railway has been taking all possible safety measures to ensure safe and secured services for its lakhs of commuters. As per the instructions of Shri P Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager, Metro Railway, regular mock drills, tutorials, special sessions etc. are being organised o­n regular basis to impart proper and updated training to Metro staff. In a unique initiative, Metro authorities have organised a Stress Management Camp from 14th to 18th July, 2025 at Noapara Training Centre. In this camp, Motormen, Technicians, Sr. Traffic Assistants, Traffic Assistants, Sr. Section Engineers, Safety Counselors have been participating. 


This camp is being organised to enhance mental well-being, reduce stress and improve efficiency of staff. In this camp, the lessons o­n ‘Art of Living ‘, founded by Shri Shri Ravi Shankar are being imparted which would act as tension and stress buster for Metro staff.


Each participant in this five-day long camp is practising yoga, meditation, Sudarshan Kriya etc. under the watchful eyes of experienced trainers to remain stress-free and face any situation calmly.
