LOST BAG RETURNED TO A METRO COMMUTER

On 03.07.2025, at 09:40 hrs, an on-duty RPF staff posted at Netaji Bhavan Metro station while conducting a routine patrolling recovered an unclaimed bag at platform area and deposited it to the Station Master’s Office. After opening the bag, some valuable items were found therein.
Thereafter a control message was communicated to all the stations.
After sometime, a commuter came to the Station Master’s Office of Netaji Bhavan Metro station and claimed the ownership of the recovered bag and the items containing therein. After proper verification and fulfilling all official formalities, the bag along with all other items were handed over to him.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway authorities for helping him to get back the lost bag along with all other items.
