LOST WALLET RECOVERED AND RETURNED TO COMMUTER

On 01.07.2025 at about 19:55 hrs, an on-duty RPF staff posted at Taratala Metro station during a routine check found a wallet near the platform area. Finding no claimant of this wallet, he deposited it to the Station Master’s Office after careful checking.
Thereafter, the Station Master made repeated announcements requesting the owner of the wallet to collect it from the Station Master’s Office and a control message was also communicated to all the stations. After opening the wallet, some valuable items were found therein.
On next day i.e. on 02.07.2025 at about 11.00 hrs, a commuter came to the Station Master’s office and claimed the ownership of the wallet. After proper verification and complying with all official formalities, the recovered wallet was handed over to him.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway Authorities for helping him to recover the lost wallet.
