METRO RAILWAY OBSERVES 134TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF Dr. B.R. AMBEDKAR

The 134th Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was observed in a solemn manner at Metro Rail Bhavan today i.e. on 15th April, 2025.
Shri P. Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager, Metro Railway, Kolkata lighted a lamp to inaugurate the programme and paid homage to Dr. Ambedkar, the great scholar and Principal Architect of the Constitution of India, by garlanding his photograph. Other senior officers and staff also paid floral tributes to this great son of the country and vowed to protect equal rights for all.
Representatives of All India Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes Railway Employees Association, recognised Union and Metro staff also paid floral tributes to this great son of the country.
The birth anniversary of Babasaheb was not observed on 14th April, 2025, being a holiday.
