LOST BAG RETURNED TO A METRO COMMUTER

On 26.03.2025 at about 12:27 hrs., an on-duty RPF staff posted at Kavi Subhash Metro station while conducting a routine patrolling recovered an unclaimed bag from a DN Metro train and deposited it to the Station Master's Office of this station. After opening the bag, some valuable items were found inside it.
Thereafter, Station Master made repeated announcements requesting the owner of the bag to collect it from the Station Master's Office and a control message was also communicated to all the stations.
After sometime, at about 13.00 hrs., a commuter came to the Station Master's Office of Kavi Subhash Metro station and claimed the ownership of the recovered bag and the items containing therein. After proper verification and fulfilling all official formalities, the bag along with all other items were handed over to him.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway authorities for helping him to get back the lost bag along with all items.
