LOST PURSE RETURNED TO A METRO COMMUTER

On 14.03.2025 at about 17:40 hrs., an on-duty RPF staff posted at Rabindra Sarobar Metro station while conducting a routine patrolling recovered an unclaimed purse and deposited it to the Station Master's Office of this station. After opening the purse, some valuable items were found inside it.
Thereafter, Station Master made repeated announcements requesting the owner of the purse to collect it from the Station Master's Office and a control message was also communicated to all the stations.
After sometime, a lady commuter came to the Station Master's Office of Rabindra Sarobar Metro station and claimed the ownership of the recovered purse and the items containing therein. After proper verification and fulfilling all official formalities, the purse with other items were handed over to her.
She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway authorities for helping her to get back the lost purse along with all items.
