COMPLETE BLOCK o­n GREEN LINE o­n 08.03.2025 (SATURDAY) AND 09.03.2025 (SUNDAY)

Kolkata, Date:- 04.03.2025

Metro Railway, Kolkata is going to grant another complete Traffic Block o­n 08.03.2025 (Saturday) and 09.03.2025 (Sunday) (2 days, Saturday and Sunday) for testing of Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) System o­n the entire East-West Metro Corridor (Green Line) from Howrah Maidan to Salt Lake Sector V. No services will be available during that period o­n East-West Corridor o­nly. Services will be partially affected o­n 07.03.2025 evening and 10.03.2025 morning also as under.

Last Metro Service o­n 07.03.25 (Friday)

Green Line – 1

At 19:03 hrs. from Sealdah to Salt Lake Sector V (instead of 21:35 hrs.)

At 19:05 hrs. from Salt Lake Sector V to Sealdah (instead of 21:40 hrs.)

Green Line-2

At 19:00 hrs. from Esplanade and Howrah Maidan (instead of 21:45 hrs.)

First Metro Service o­n 10.03.25 (Monday)

Green Line – 1

At 08:05 hrs. from Salt Lake Sector V to Sealdah (instead of 07:05 hrs.)

At 08:15 hrs. from Sealdah to Salt Lake Sector V (instead of 06:55 hrs.)

Green Line-2

At 08:00 hrs. from Esplanade and Howrah Maidan (instead of 07:00 hrs.)

Services o­n Blue Line will be operated as usual.

Inconvenience caused to the Green Line Metro passengers is deeply regretted.
