LOST BAG RETURNED TO A METRO COMMUTER

On 15.12.2024, at 16.16 hrs an on-duty lady RPF staff posted at Netaji Metro station while conducting a routine patrolling recovered an unclaimed bag near the sitting chair at the platform and deposited it to the Station Master’s Office of the station. After opening the bag, some valuable items were found therein.
Thereafter, Station Master made repeated announcements requesting the owner of the bag to collect it from the Station Master's Office and a control message was also communicated to all the stations.
After sometime, a lady commuter came to the Station Master’s Office of Netaji Metro station and claimed the ownership of the recovered bag and the items containing therein. After proper verification and fulfilling all official formalities, the bag along with all other items were handed over to her.
She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway authorities for helping her to get back the lost bag along with all other items.
