REVISED METRO SERVICES BETWEEN HOWRAH MAIDAN AND ESPLANADE STATIONS on GREEN LINE-2 FROM 14.12.2024

Due to the on-going construction work between Esplanade and Sealdah stations, services on Green Line-2 are going to be revised from 14.12.2024 (Saturday). From that day 114 services will be run instead of 150 services from Monday to Saturday for facilitating the construction works being undertaken by Kolkata Metro Rail Corporation Limited (KMRCL).
In the East-bound tunnel of Green Line-2, services will not be changed between Howrah Maidan and Esplanade stations. During peak hours i.e. 09.00 hrs to 11.00 hrs and 17.00 hrs to 20.00 hrs services will be available at 20 minutes interval. During non-peak hours services will be available at 24 minutes interval in the East-bound tunnel.
In the West-bound tunnel, services will be available during peak hours i.e. 09.00 hrs to 11.00 hrs and 17.00 hrs to 20.00 hrs between Howrah Maidan and Mahakaran at 20 minutes interval.
During non-peak hours no services will run in this West-bound tunnel.
First Service –
From Howrah Maidan to Esplanade on East-bound line at 06:55 hrs.
From Esplanade to Howrah Maidan on East- bound line at 07:12 hrs.
From Howrah Maidan to Mahakaran on West-bound line at 09:08 hrs.
From Mahakaran to Howrah Maidan on West-bound line at 09:20 hrs.
Last Service –
From Howrah Maidan to Esplanade on East-bound line at 21:46 hrs.
From Esplanade to Howrah Maidan on East-bound line at 21:58 hrs.
From Howrah Maidan to Mahakaran on West-bound line at 19:58 hrs.
From Mahakaran to Howrah Maidan on West-bound line at 20:08 hrs.
Sunday services on Green Line-2 will remain unchanged.
