SURCHARGE on NIGHT METRO TICKETS NOT BEING LEVIED FROM TONIGHT

A special pair of Metro services is being run at 22:40 hrs. from Kavi Subhash (New Garia) to Dum Dum and vice-versa for the convenience of the commuters. The decision to levy surcharge of Rs.10/- with every ticket for these services irrespective of the distance travelled by the commuter has been deferred for some technical reason. Earlier, It was informed that this surcharge would be levied from today i.e.10th December, 2024. The date of initiation of this surcharge will be intimated later.
