LOST CARTOON BOX RETURNED TO A METRO COMMUTER

On 09.12.2024 at about 10:15 hrs, an on-duty RPF staff posted at Sahid Khudiram Metro station while conducting a routine patrolling recovered an unclaimed cartoon box lying near sitting chair of the platform and deposited it to the Station Master’s Office of the station. After opening the cartoon box, some valuable items were found therein.
Thereafter, Station Master made repeated announcements requesting the owner of the cartoon box to collect it from the Station Master's Office and a control message was also communicated to all the stations.
After sometime at about 10:28 hrs., a commuter came to the Station Master’s Office of Sahid Khudiram Metro station and claimed the ownership of the recovered cartoon box and the items containing therein. After proper verification and fulfilling all official formalities, the cartoon box was handed over to him.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway authorities for helping him to get back the lost cartoon box.
