MAHAPARINIRVAN DIVAS OF BHARAT RATNA
DR. B.R. AMBEDKAR OBSERVED IN METRO RAILWAY
Kolkata, 6th December, 2024:
Mahaparinirvan Divas of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was observed in Metro Railway today i.e. on 06.12.2024. Shri Asim Kumar Majumdar, Principal Chief Electrical Engineer of Metro Railway paid homage to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the Chief Architect of Indian Constitution by lighting a lamp as well as garlanding his photograph at Metro Rail Bhavan in a solemn function.
Principal Heads of Departments, other senior officers and staff of Metro Railway also paidtheir respect and homage to Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar by garlanding and offering floral tributes to him.
Metro staff and officers along with members of All India Scheduled Castesand Scheduled Tribes Railway Employee' s Association fondly remembered the works of Babasaheb and his outstanding contribution for the cause of the society and the downtrodden.
