MOCK FIRE DRILL CUM TRAINING CONDUCTED AT NOAPARA CARSHED

Metro Railway takes all possible measures and care for ensuring commuters safety. Metro Railway authorities regularly monitor and review different safety protocols adopted in the 'Lifeline of Kolkata' to avoid any untoward incident like fire. In order to check the preparedness of Metro staff of different departments to tackle any fire emergency in the Metro premises, regular mock drills are conducted in Kolkata Metro.
A mock fire drill cum training session for the field staff of Metro Railway was conducted under the supervision of Senior Officers on 29.11.2024 at Noapara Carshed. In this drill, Metro staff were imparted training to douse the flame through simulation of various fire and smoke conditions.
It is expected that such drill will sharpen the skill and alertness of Metromen to respond to any emergency situation and minimize the rescue time and restore normalcy at the earliest.
