GENERAL MANAGER INSPECTS on-GOING WORKS OF TUNNELS OF SEALDAH-ESPLANADE SECTION OF GREEN LINE

Shri P. Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager, Metro Railway and Chairman, KMRCL along with Shri Anuj Mittal, Managing Director, KMRCL and other senior officials of KMRCL has conducted an on foot inspection of the on-going works in the Tunnels between Sealdah-Esplanade Section of Green Line today i.e. 26.11.2024. An extensive inspection of both the Tunnels was made to review the progress of Tunnel Retrofitting works of affected zones of East-bound and West-bound Tunnels at Bowbazar and ongoing Track Works and other system works.
During his inspection, Shri Reddy expressed his satisfaction seeing the on-going progress of work of this stretch and specially focused on the timely completion of balance works in the Sealdah-Esplanade section for early commissioning of the section and opening the entire stretch from Howrah Maidan to Salt Lake Sector V. of Green Line for passenger service at the earliest.
