METRO RAILWAY OBSERVES CONSTITUTION DAY

Constitution Day also known as 'Samvidhan Divas’ is observed in our country every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. on 26th November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, which came into effect from 26th January 1950.
Today i.e. on 26.11.2024, Metro Railway observed the Constitution Day. Shri Asim Kumar Majumdar, Principal Chief Electrical Engineer administered the pledge on the Preamble of the Constitution of India to officers and staff at Metro Rail Bhavan. Officers and staff of Metro Railway in large numbers participated in this programme. Metro officers and staff vowed to uphold and protect the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India and secure social, economic and political justice to all citizens as well as dignity of the individual. This apart, the Constitution Day was also observed in Noapara Carshed, Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital and other offices of Metro Railway.
