CANCER AWARENESS PROGRAMME IN METRO RAILWAY

Metro Railway in association with Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre & Research Institute organised a cancer awareness programme at Metro Rail Bhavan today i.e. on 21.11.2024. Dr Gautam Bhattacharjee, expert in Radiation oncology & Palliative Care,Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre & Research Institute briefed all about the root causes of cancer. He also explained about the effect of cancer on the society and different ways to prevent this deadly disease. He also emphasised on early vaccination and elaborated different treatment methods of cancer.
Shri P Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager along with PHODs, other senior officers and staff of Metro Railway attended the programme. In this programme, many queries of officers and staff were also answered by Dr. Bhattacharjee.
Dr. A.Dutta, PCMO, thanked all for joining this programme and hoped that it would help to fight cancer.
