METRO RAILWAY OBSERVES 4TH JANJATIYA GAURAV DIVAS

Janjatiya Gaurav Divas is observed on 15th November of each year to celebrate the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Dharti Aba Bhagwan Birsa Munda, an inspirational tribal leader and freedom fighter who dedicated his life to the fight for tribal rights and social reforms
Since 15th November, 2024 was a holiday and 16th and 17th November were also closed holidays, Metro Railway has observed 4th Janjatiya Gaurav Divas today i.e. on 18.11.2024. A special programme was organized at Metro Rail Bhavan to pay the profound respect of Metromen to Birsa Munda who made supreme sacrifices to make India free from the British rule.
Shri P. Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager, Metro Railway inaugurated this programme by lighting a traditional lamp. He along with other senior officers, staff of Metro Railway and members of All India Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribes Railway Employee's Association (Zonal Executive Committee) paid their floral tribute to Dharti Aba Bhagwan Birsa Munda today.
