WORLD DIABETES DAY OBSERVED AT TAPAN SINHA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

World Diabetes Day has been observed in Metro Railway today i.e. on 14.11.2024. The theme of this year’s World Diabetes Day has been "Breaking Barriers, Bridging Gaps."
Dr. Amitava Dutta, Principal Chief Medical Officer (PCMO), other doctors, nurses, paramedics and diabetic patients were present in a seminar at Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital to mark the occasion.
Overview and perspective of diabetes and its co-morbidities were elaborately discussed· by Dr. A. K. Prasad, ACMS/Metro Railway with the help of Power Point Presentation. Medical Nutritional Therapy in Diabetes were also discussed by Dr. Prasad in detail with illustrative examples. Interactive session with the audience were also done. More than 50 persons attended the programme. Finally Dr. A.Dutta, PCMO, concluded the session.
