RAIL CHAUPAL ORGANISED AT MAHANAYAK UTTAM KUMAR METRO STATION

Kolkata, Date: 21.10.2024

Metro Railway has been conducting ‘Special Campaign 4.0’ from 02.10.2024 to 31.10.2024. During this campaign intensive cleaning and sanitization drives at stations, trains, colonies, hospital and other railway establishments were carried out. Metro staff made commuters aware about the importance of cleanliness and sought their co-operation to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness in the Metro premises.

As a part of this campaign, a Rail Chaupal was held at Mahanayak Uttam Kumar Station to make the passengers aware about Swachhta. Shri V.G. Shamkule, Dy COM/G, Metro Railway presided over this chaupal. He requested all to keep Metro premises clean. He also interacted with them. Metro commuters expressed their satisfaction about the standard of cleanliness in the Metro premises.

Extensive cleanliness drive was organized at Mahanayak Uttam Kumar station today. Banners have been put o­n display to make all aware about this chaupal. Repeated announcements were also made through the Public Address System in the stations about the importance of this Swachhta programme.
