LOST MOBILE RECOVERED AND RETURNED TO A COMMUTER

On 30.09.2024 at about 20:00 hrs., an on-duty lady RPF staff at the platform of Park Street Metro station found a mobile phone near a sitting chair. Finding no claimant of this phone and after proper security checking, she deposited it at the Station Master’s Office.
Thereafter, Station Master made repeated announcements requesting the owner of the phone to collect it from the Station Master's Office and a control message was also communicated to all the stations. Later, the passenger called to his mobile and got the information about the mobile phone which was at the custody of Park Street Station Master.
On the next day, i.e. 01.10.2024 at 08:15 hrs, a lady commuter came to the Station Master's Office and claimed the ownership of the phone. After proper verification and complying with all official formalities, the phone was handed over to her.
She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway authorities for helping her to recover her lost phone.
