DIGITAL PAYMENT SOLUTION INTRODUCED IN TAPAN SINHA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL
Kolkata, Date: 01.10.2024
Electronic payments offer significant advantages compared to traditional methods. Not only are e-Payments faster, they are also more cost-effective, security, provide enhanced convenience, and can easily integrate with existing systems. Metro Railway is not lagging behind in this area.
In order to alleviate the hardship of the patients, Metro Railway Authority has taken an initiative on Digital Payment Solutions towards providing the facilities at Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital to Railway employees as well as outsiders. Till now, family members of the patients have to pay the fees to the Station Superintendent of Metro station manually.
In view of the difficulties of the staff of Metro Railway for this age old system, Shri P. Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager, Metro Railway inaugurated a Digital Payment Solution for patients at Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital today i.e. on 01.10.2024. The solution has been developed in association with HDFC Bank. Smt. Ambika Jain, Principal Financial Advisor, Shri Amitava Dutta, Principal Chief Medical Officer, Shri Manish Jain, Principal Chief Safety Officer, Shri Anuj Mittal, Principal Chief Engineer, Shri Asim Kumar Majumdar, Principal Chief Electrical Engineer and representatives of HDFC Bank were present at the occasion.
This system has evoked widespread interest in Metro staff.
