LOST BAG RETURNED TO A METRO COMMUTER

On 02.09.2024, at 17:00 hrs an on-duty RPF staff posted at Dum Dum Metro station while conducting a routine patrolling recovered an unclaimed bag from inside a Metro rake and deposited it to the Station Master’s Office of the station. After opening the bag, some valuable items were found therein.
After sometime at about 19:15 hrs., a lady commuter came to the Station Master’s Office of Dum Dum Metro station and claimed the ownership of the recovered bag and the items containing therein. After proper verification and fulfilling all official formalities, the bag along with all other items were handed over to her.
She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway authorities for helping her to get back the lost bag along with all other items.
