SUNDAY SERVICES on GREEN LINE-2 COMMENCE
Kolkata, 01.09.24:
Sunday services on Green Line-2 of Kolkata Metro have commenced from today i.e. 01.09.2024. The first services left Howrah Maidan and Esplanade stations at 14.15 hrs. and reached destination stations at 14.23 hrs. The first ticket was issued at 13.45 hrs. In the first services around 650 commuters have travelled on this stretch. Till 17.00 hrs around 6500 commuters have travelled in Green Line-2 today.
Commuters were visibly happy as Sunday Services on Green Line-2 under the river Hooghly have commenced. They have thanked the Metro authorities for this as it will ease their commuting between Howrah Maidan to heart of Kolkata on Sundays.
