GENERAL MANAGER INSPECTS HOWRAH MAIDAN TO ESPLANADE STRETCH OF EAST-WEST METRO CORRIDOR

Shri P. Uday Kumar Reddy,General Manager, Metro Railway, inspected Howrah Maidan to Esplanade stretch of East-West Metro Corridor (Green Line) today i.e. on 31.12.2023. During this inspection, senior Kolkata Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (KMRCL) officials as well as other senior officials of Metro Railway accompanied him.
Shri Reddy started today’s inspection from Howrah Maidan Metro station. He travelled up to Esplanade Metro station under the river Hooghly in a Metro. Shri Reddy inspected all passenger amenities and progress of work at Esplanade station as this stretch is almost ready for commissioning.While evaluating the progress of works of all the underground stations from Howrah Maidan to Esplanade on-the-spot, he also inspected passenger amenities, ventilation and air-conditioning system of these stations.
Shri Reddy expressed his satisfaction after seeing the progress of works and advised all to complete all the pending jobs within the deadline.
