LOST MOBILE RECOVERED AND RETURNED TO A COMMUTER

On 06.12.2023 at about 17:55 hrs at Rabindra Sadan Metro station, on-duty RPF staff during a routine check found a mobile phone at the platform. Finding no claimant of this phone and after proper security checking, he deposited it at the Station Master’s office.
Thereafter, Station Master made repeated announcements requesting the owner of the phone to collect it from the Station Master's Office and a control message was also communicated to all the stations.
After sometimes i.e. at 18:15 hrs, a commuter came to the Station Master's Office and claimed the ownership of the phone. After proper verification and complying with all official formalities, the phone was handed over to him.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway Authorities for helping him to recover the lost phone.
